He called my bluff….
J that is. Yesterday I threatened to throw away one of his trains because he has gotten into the habit of throwing his toys. “Okay.” he says. So I threw Annie in the trash (all you parents with Thomas the Train fans living in your house know which one I’m talking about). I made J come look at it to show him I was serious.
“Say bye-bye to Annie.”
“Bye Annie” he says.
Determined to make him understand that he will have to live with the consequences of his actions, I proceeded to tell him that I’m going to throw away all his trains if he keeps throwing his toys.
“They’re upstairs, Mommy.” he says.
Meanwhile K is rolling on the floor trying to suppress his laughter.
To top it all off, on the way upstairs to go to bed, he finds Clarabell in the playroom.
“Here Mommy, I found another one.” J says.
Yeah, okay so I’m not going to actually throw away his trains (you think I’m crazy? We payed good money for those trains!)…but he won’t be seeing them for a looong time.
